Teer Coatings' UDP (Ultra-Dense PVD) system is an advanced surface coating technology that enhances material properties for various applications.

UDP 4 Magnetron Systems

 

The UDP range of Systems has been specifically designed and optimised for use in industrial applications. The system is equipped 4 x Plasmag II Magnetrons in the patented CFUBMSIP arrangement giving increase cleaning and better coating properties. Advanced Energy Pulsed DC power supplies are used for the bias and Advanced Energy DC power supplies are used for the magnetrons; these offer excellent arc handling capabilities for magnetron sputtering. A linear Ion Source is included as standard for enhanced Ion Cleaning of components prior to coating. A turbo pump and dry pump are used for achieving the necessary vacuum both are oil free meaning routine pump maintenance only needs to be carried out once per year. The system is controlled for a PLC / HMI interface with 40 + recipes being able to be stored on the system. Parts are loaded into the system via 1 off two tool handling systems this means one set of tools can be in the system coating whilst the other jig is either being unloaded and reloaded with the next batch.

Metal Coatings Au, AG,Pt,Ru, Metal Alloys.

 

Oxide Coatings Sio2, Al203, Cr203.

CF 4 Magnetron Systems

 

The CF range of Systems has been specifically designed and optimised for use in industrial applications in a clean environment by encasing all of the operating systems in a wipe clean box. The system is equipped 4 x Plasmag II Magnetrons in the patented CFUBMSIP arrangement giving increase cleaning and better coating properties. Advanced Energy Pulsed DC power supplies are used for the bias and Advanced Energy DC power supplies are used for the magnetrons; these offer excellent arc handling capabilities for magnetron sputtering.
